Claire Doughty is an Associate with the firm. Ms. Doughty attended law school at the University of Windsor and articled with at a large regional law firm in Ontario. Prior to joining Hajduk Gibbs LLP, Ms. Doughty practiced family law at a small litigation firm in Oshawa, Ontario. Ms. Doughty has experience in assisting clients with a variety of contested and uncontested matrimonial matters, including custody, access and the division of property. Ms. Doughty has represented clients in a variety of pre-trial conferences, motions and child welfare proceedings.
Ms. Doughty was also a member of the Ontario Legal Aid panel and had the opportunity to represent low-income families in both family and child protection proceedings. Ms. Doughty looks forward to volunteering with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre in order to assist in providing free legal services to those in need in the Edmonton area.
Ms. Doughty practices, alone or in conjunction with other members of the firm, in the following areas:
Ms. Doughty enjoys hot yoga, golf, hiking, skiing, fishing and spending time with family and friends.
