Theresa M. Nolan is an Associate with the firm. Ms. Nolan attended law school at the University College Cork, Ireland and, after graduation, joined Apple in their European Head Quarters in Cork, Ireland. Ms. Nolan worked with Apple for 6 years prior to moving to Canada in 2014. During her time with Apple Ms. Nolan held the position of Operations Manager for Europe for the Inside Sales Education Team, and moved to a role in the World Wide Project Management Group in 2012 where she was involved in the roll out of projects such as PayPal, Apple Store Gift card and AC+ an insurance product. Ms. Nolan interpreted regulations and designed compliant business process for teams in EMEIA, JAPAC and AMR for the project rollouts.
Ms. Nolan moved to Edmonton in 2014 and joined Hajduk Gibbs in June 2014 while studying for and completing the Federation of Law Societies, National Committee for Accreditation Exams. Ms. Nolan articled with Hajduk Gibbs prior to becoming an Associate with the firm.
Ms. Nolan has experience assisting clients in a variety of contested and uncontested civil litigation matters, and family law matters and has appeared in Provincial Court and the Court of Queen's Bench. Ms. Nolan has been involved in litigating in a broad scope of areas, including Corporate Law, Employment Law, Debt Collections, Contract Law, Aboriginal Law, Builders' Liens, Defamation and Administrative Law. Ms. Nolan is also a member of the Edmonton Community Legal Guidance Centre panel where she volunteers providing free legal services to low income individuals and families in the Community on a variety of issues including Residential Tenancy disputes, debt actions, immigration issues and family law matters.
